Family and Friends,
On June 12th, River Ride 2016, I’ll be in the Tern Bicycles booth at the Autry Museum in support of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.
I know that every day someone asks for something for a worthy organization or cause and this is my ask: Please make a donation to the LACBC in support of all the wonderful work they do!
The LA River Ride is LACBC’s biggest fundraiser and the biggest event on the river. The River Ride raises funds for LACBC's advocacy, education, and outreach programs and supports the Greenway 2020 campaign to complete all 51 miles of the LA River Bikeway from Canoga Park to Long Beach.
I have served on the board of LACBC for the past five years and am proud to be a part of an organization that advocates for a safer, healthier, and fun place for everyone who rides a bike and walks in all eighty-eight cities of the county and in particular LACBC’s commitment to equity. "LACBC recognizes our role in shaping regional policy to address these disparities and advocates for institutional changes that address inequity." No amount is too small. I appreciate your consideration.
And no, LA Kings Captain Dustin Brown has not confirmed his attendance but he did compliment me on my LACBC t-shirt!
